Why We Started Traveling

My husband and I have always traveled, but our travel time has dramatically reduced while pursuing other dreams. When we decided that we wanted to travel more, it made sense for us to create a blog that allowed us to share our experiences with others.

We don’t have children yet, so we thought a lifestyle blog focusing on family travel would be fitting. We also love following other travel blogs and hope that Little Babog becomes one of those favorite sites for people who love traveling as much as we do!

Why we started Little Babog: The idea behind Little Babog is simple. It all began when my sister-in-law said she loved seeing pictures of her nephews on Facebook and asked if she could see more photos of them (she lives in another state). I thought about how often friends and family ask about my travels, especially since I’ve started blogging about them. Thus Little Babog was born!

Our First Trip is a Family of Three

It was amazing. My husband, Drew, and I welcomed our new baby girl Babe into our lives on our first trip as a family of three. We spent three weeks at home just going about life with two little ones and then decided to travel from Toronto down through Quebec and all along Nova Scotia’s coastline.

The first trip of many adventures that we hope will take us back throughout our daughter’s lifetime! For now, join us in exploring more of our beloved Canada while raising a my little babog family lifestyle travel blog along the way!

The main focus of our little travel blog is to talk about different places we visit within Canada and other countries worldwide! my little babog family lifestyle travel blog started when my husband wanted to find ways for us to make extra money online. He found out about affiliate marketing, and since then, he has been working hard at his little online business so he can be able to stay at home with our kids and me while making some extra income online. We have always loved traveling, but now we can do it all over again! It’s amazing what you can do when you start living your life by design instead of by default.

We love sharing our experiences with family, friends, and people who are far away from where we live. It has made a big difference in staying connected to our family and friends even though they are thousands of miles away from us. So why not share these experiences on a little travel blog I create? How long have you been blogging?

Many bloggers say that you must blog for at least a year before you can consider yourself an expert. It takes some time to build up your readership and establish your voice and style; it also takes time to become familiar with your favorite tools and other bloggers’ work.

The more time you spend building up your experience, connections, and confidence, the better your writing will be once you feel like sharing it on a bigger platform. I saw travel blogs popping up all over, but I didn’t want to start a travel-focused one. I’ve always liked lifestyle blogs and felt it would be fun to have an outlet for our everyday adventures and moments.

When my friends and family suggested I start a travel-focused family lifestyle trip, we just ran with that idea, so obviously, it has morphed into something pretty cool. We love being able to share our love for traveling with others in such an engaging way!

Do you like traveling with your husband and family?

Yes, we love traveling with our family. It’s one of our greatest joys in life. There is so much fun when you travel with your family. You have different experiences and learn more about each other. That’s why we always travel together, even if it is a short break; we try to have 2 or 3 days off together every year to explore new places because we believe that traveling is a way to learn more about each other and grow closer as a family.

What are your favorite places to shop and eat when you’re abroad?

Shopping and eating are two of my favorite things in life, so it should be no surprise that I enjoy them equally when abroad. My family loves to travel and explore new places, but we always make sure to find time for both shopping and dining out while we’re away. There are some fantastic online sites where you can plan your trip from home. Here are some of my favorite places to shop abroad – for a souvenir or something practical like a hair straightener.
